Our Story
Jardin de Niños began as a dream – one that belonged to Ruth Diaz, a passionate educator and mother determined to start something special. After earning her degree, and advanced degrees (she loved education!) and overcoming her share of challenges, she founded the preschool in 2013 with a vision for a bilingual, faith-based space where every child could feel seen, safe, and supported. Today, her daughter Eva continues that vision with heart, dedication, and a team that shares her belief: early childhood is sacred.

Eva Diaz
Owner, Co-Director and Legacy-Carrier Honoring the school her mother built, Eva brings leadership and dedication to every part of the preschool’s day-to-day.
Ms. Bertha
Director and Preschool Teacher As a founding director, Ms. Bertha brings leadership and dedication to every part of the preschool’s day-to-day. Ms. Bertha is a creative and caring director/teacher with a Christian education background. Ms. Bertha brings years of knowledge and experience to our preschool. She earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Early Childhood Education. With experience in Head Start and public school preschool programs, Ms. Bertha was instrumental in earning the school’s 3-star Quality First rating.

Preschool Educator A creative and caring teacher with a Christian education background, she balances her classroom work with raising her own child.
